Algarabía Colombiana

Priscilla Barney, one of Nathashia's daughters has been performing Colombian folkloric dances since the age of 5. Coming from a musical family, her interest in dance and music came at an early age. Growing up, she performed many different styles of dance including Hip-Hop, Ballroom, Jazz, Bachata and Salsa. Priscilla eventually realized she had a passion for Salsa and traditional folkloric dances from Colombia. She then took it upon herself to start helping with our group's choreography in 2008. By the time she was 17 in 2011, she decided to move to Colombia to train with Cali's most well known and professional Salsa teams "El Swing Latino". Since then she has been a part of many Salsa teams in San Diego and Los Angeles California as well as New York City. Along with Salsa, she has dedicated her time to help organize, teach and share her love of Colombian culture with our group and the world!
